Chef Fred Ruiz
Meet Chef Fred Ruiz, the award wining executive chef at CasaMagna Marriott Puerto Vallarta Resort & Spa.
Since 1986, Chef Ruiz has dazzled guest at some of the Marriott's most prestigious locations; New York, Chicago, Denver and now Puerto Vallarta.
Some of Chef Fred's greatest accomplishments:
- He cooked directly for Presidents Nixon, Ford & Reagan. He also did private functions
for the late Frank Sinatra along with other famous stars in the Palm Springs area.
- In early 2007, he became a Business Council member overseeing all gastronomical updates
for Marriott's Mexico, Caribbean and Latin American hotels.
- Chef Ruiz was awarded for two years (2004 and 2007) with the Marriott's International
Culinary Excellence Award.
